About the event
Hi Downtown Westers!
The DWCA would like to invite you to attend the 2020 Annual General Meeting. Over the last year, our community has made great strides, but we believe next year can be even better! We will review the highlights from last year and share the opportunities that are ahead of us. Please join your fellow community members for an evening to connect and help us continue to make Downtown West a great place to live, work, and play.
We always need more volunteers and new board members!
If you are interested to help as a volunteer with our events and initiatives, please indicate that on the registration form.
If you are interested to serve on the board or shadow a board member and would like to learn more about it, please send an email to (president@dwca.ca) and we will get back to you to arrange a time to chat.
How to attend the AGM?
The event will be held online on the Zoom platform. Please register here to purchase free tickets. Tickets will be available till 12 noon on the day of the AGM (Dec 2nd). Zoom link will be sent to ticket holders by 3 pm on Dec 2nd, 2020, along with a copy of the Annual Report.
Special resolution:
The board plans to present a special resolution at the 2020 AGM in order to specifically permit DWCA meetings to be held by electronic means.
