Place: Meet at Bowforth Park
Hello, Downtown West Residents and Supporters,
We will be going around Downtown West on the morning of April 24 to clean up around our neighbourhood. We will focus on the parks (Bowforth and Shaw Millenium), the riverbanks bordering our neighbourhood and finally a walk through our neighbourhood for any large pieces of litter.
This is a great opportunity to get out and celebrate Earth Day and participate in a community clean-up. Take pride in your neighbourhood and Downtown West! We will provide treats to kick off the morning.
Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Volunteers will be asked to remain with their households for the duration of the activity due to provincial COVID-19 safety protocols. If you would like to bring additional clean-up tools like pickers, please free to do so.
